Viewing Job Details
Navigate to a job's complete details:
Navigation Options: 1. Jobs page > Click any job card 2. Direct URL if bookmarked 3. From client's quote history 4. From notifications

Job Header & Actions
The job header contains key information and action buttons:
- Project title (large text)
- Client name
- Job amount
- Status badge
- Payment badge
Primary Action Buttons:
- Appears when status is "Not Started"
- Click to change status to "In Progress"
- Confirmation dialog appears
- Records start date
- Appears when status is "In Progress"
- Opens completion confirmation
- Changes status to "Completed"
- Records completion date
- Cancel Job
- Reset Status
- View Original Quote
- Download Invoice
- Copy Quote Link

Start the Job
Click "Start Work" when you begin. Status changes to "In Progress".
Work in Progress
Job stays "In Progress" while you work. No action needed.
Mark Complete
Click "Mark Completed" when done. Confirm in the dialog.
Client Information Card
A dedicated card shows all client details:
- Name: Client's full name
- Email: Click to send email (mailto: link)
- Phone: Click to call (tel: link on mobile)
- Address: Project location (click for map)
- Email icon: Opens email client
- Phone icon: Initiates call
- Map icon: Opens location in maps
- Copy icon: Copy info to clipboard
- Top-right on desktop
- Below header on mobile
- Always accessible
- Send email
- Make phone call
- Get directions
- Copy contact info
Work Items Card
View all line items from the original quote:
- Description
- Quantity
- Unit (sq ft, hours, each, etc.)
- Unit price
- Line total
- Materials
- Labor
- Custom items
- Subtotal (before tax)
- Tax amount (if applicable)
- Total amount

Invoice Schedule Section
View and manage the payment schedule:
- Milestone name (Deposit, Final, etc.)
- Amount for that payment
- Due date (if set)
- Status (Pending/Paid)

Change Orders Section
Manage scope changes after the job starts:
- Additional work requested after signing
- Changes to original scope
- Price adjustments
- Documented modifications
- Description of change
- Amount (positive or negative)
- Date created
- Status (Pending/Approved/Completed)
Creating Change Orders: 1. Click "Add Change Order" button 2. Describe the change 3. Enter amount adjustment 4. Save change order 5. Client can approve (if required)
- Adds to total job value
- Creates separate line items
- Can be invoiced separately
- Maintains audit trail

- Document all scope changes

Important
Always document change orders before doing additional work. Verbal agreements can lead to disputes.
Customer Review Card
Request and manage customer reviews:
- "Request Review" on completed jobs
- Sends email to client
- One-click process
Request Process: 1. Click "Request Review" 2. Confirm email will be sent 3. Client receives review link 4. They rate and leave feedback 5. Review appears on your profile
- Star rating (1-5)
- Review text/comment
- Date of review
- Reply option (if available)
- Copy Link: Copy review request link
- Resend: Send reminder email
- View on Profile: See public display
- "No review yet" message
- Request Review button prominent
- Suggestion to request after completion
- Request while job is fresh
- Wait until client is satisfied
- Timing affects response rate
- Follow up if no response
Pro Tip
Request a review right after completing the job while the client is still happy. Timing dramatically affects your review rate!

Manage project photos:
- Grid of uploaded photos
- Thumbnails with click-to-enlarge
- Before/After labels if set

Photo Upload Modal
Upload photos to document the job:
- Click "Add Photos" button

- Recommended: 1000+ pixels wide

Updating Job Status
Update status as work progresses:
- Not Started
- In Progress
- Completed
- Cancelled
Changing Status: 1. Find status dropdown or button 2. Click current status 3. Select new status 4. Confirmation dialog appears 5. Confirm to update
Confirmation Dialogs:
- "Start this job?"
- Records start date
- Changes to In Progress
- "Mark as Completed?"

Pro Tip
Mark jobs as "Completed" promptly after finishing. This keeps your active jobs list clean and accurate.

Important
Cancelling a job is significant. Ensure you have client agreement and handle any refunds separately.

Generating Invoices
Create professional PDF invoices:
- "Generate Invoice" or invoice icon
- Located in header or actions menu
- One-click generation
Invoice Generation: 1. Click "Generate Invoice" 2. System creates PDF 3. Download dialog appears 4. Save or open PDF

Open Job Details
Navigate to the job you need an invoice for.
Click Generate Invoice
Find the invoice button in page actions or header.
Download PDF
PDF is generated and downloads to your device.
Share with Client
Email the PDF or print for your records.
Job History & Timeline
View the complete history of the job:
- Quote created
- Quote sent
- Quote viewed
- Quote signed
- Job started
- Status changes
- Payments received
- Job completed
