Configuring Profile Settings
Your profile settings control how your business appears to clients and set defaults for new quotes. A complete profile builds trust and looks more professional.

Profile Completion Tracker
Track your profile completeness with the visual progress indicator:
- Percentage shown: "75% Complete"
- Progress bar visualization
- Colored green when 100%
- Located at top of profile settings
- Business name (required)
- Bio/description

Pro Tip
Aim for 100% profile completion before sending your first quote. A complete profile dramatically increases client trust and conversion rates.
Profile Photo Upload
Add a professional photo or logo:
- Minimum size: 200x200 pixels
- Recommended: 400x400 pixels (square)
- Formats: JPG, PNG
- Max file size: 5MB
Uploading Process: 1. Click on the photo placeholder or "Upload Photo" 2. Select image from your device 3. Crop/adjust if needed 4. Photo saves automatically

- Changes save automatically
- No "Save" button needed

Update Business Name
Enter your official business name for quotes and invoices.
Set Custom URL
Choose a memorable URL slug for your public profile.
Write Your Bio
Use a template or write a custom bio highlighting your experience.
Add Contact Info
Enter phone, email, and address for client communication.

Templates are a starting point. Customize them with specific details about your experience, certifications, and what makes you different.
Public URL Slug
Customize your public profile URL:
- quotrpro.com/[your-slug]
- Example: quotrpro.com/smithplumbing
- Use your business name
- Keep it short and memorable
- Lowercase letters only
- Hyphens allowed (no spaces)
- No special characters
- /smithplumbing
- /acme-construction
- /john-doe-electric
- /abc-renovations
- /smith's_plumbing (apostrophe, underscore)
- /mycompany123456 (too long, random numbers)
- /ALLCAPS (use lowercase)
- You can change your slug ONCE
- After changing, it locks permanently
- Choose carefully!
- Contact support if needed
- Initial slug may be auto-generated
- You get one free change
- After use, shows "Slug is locked"
- Prevents confusion with links

Important
Your profile URL slug can only be changed once. After that, it's permanently locked. Choose wisely!
