Starting a Manual Quote

Begin creating your manual quote:

  • Dashboard > "Manual Quote" button
  • Sidebar > Quotes > New Quote
  • From client page > "New Quote"
  • Client information form
  • Project details section
  • Clean, focused interface
  • Left: Form sections (scrollable)
  • Right: Live preview (desktop)
  • Mobile: Form with preview toggle
  • Drafts save automatically
  • Every 30 seconds
  • Also on blur (leaving field)

Client Information

Enter or select client details:

  • Name (required)
  • Email (required for sending)
  • Phone (optional)
  • Address (optional)
  • Start typing client name
  • Matching clients appear in dropdown
  • Click to select and auto-fill
  • All fields populate automatically
  • Searches name and email
  • Shows recent clients first
  • Indicates "existing client"
  • Can still edit after selection

Client Fields:

Start Typing Name

Begin entering the client name. Existing clients will appear.

Click an existing client to auto-fill, or continue typing for new.

Confirm all details are correct before proceeding.

Project Details

Define the project scope:

  • Auto-generated from first line item
  • Or enter custom title
  • Shows prominently on quote
  • Keep it clear and descriptive
  • Based on line item descriptions
  • Updates as you add items

Adding Line Items

Build your quote with line items:

  • Click "Add Line Item" button
  • Fill in item details
  • Item appears in list

Enter the quantity and select the unit type.

Click Save. Item appears in list. Repeat for more items.

  • Click "Add Photos" button
  • Drag and drop files
  • Take photo (mobile)
  • Select multiple at once
  • Formats: JPG, PNG
  • Max size: 10MB each
  • Recommended: 1000+ pixels
  • Limit: 10 photos per quote

  • Must total 100%

  • Banner appears when expiring soon

Saving & Drafts

Your work is automatically saved:

  • Saves every 30 seconds
  • Saves when you leave a field
  • "Saving..." indicator shows
  • "Saved" confirms completion
  • Drafts appear in Quotes list
  • Status: "Draft"
  • Click to continue editing
  • Or delete if not needed
  • Draft: Can edit freely
  • Sent: Limited edits (creates new version)
  • Signed: Cannot edit (locked)
  • Click "Save Draft" button
  • Confirms save completed
  • Good before closing browser
  • Not required (auto-save works)
  • Drafts don't expire
  • Keep as long as needed
